Travel groups tour the Northwest

June 11, 2015

NNU's summer ministry teams, Covenant and Witness, are headed out on the road again. These groups, who specialize in drama and music ministry, travel the Northwest visiting churches and camps. This summer will not only include visits to the seven states in our field but will also take Witness all the way to Louisville, Kentucky for Nazarene Youth Conference.

You can view the groups’ schedules and member bios at nnu.edu/summerministrygroups. Follow them throughout the summer by visiting their blogs: nnucovenant.tumblr.com and lovennuwitness.tumblr.com.

This summer, Covenant consists of returners Miles Wilson (Salem, Ore.) Ronny Beech (Nampa, Idaho) and Kraymer Lorig (Marysville, Wash.) along with newcomers Sarah Roberts (Boise, Idaho), Jenna Whitney (Yreka, Calif.), Sheldon Field (Nampa, Idaho) and Shannon Seward (Kimberly, Idaho).

Witness members include Beth Machamer (Denver, Colo.), Lexi Sarver (Arlington, Wash.), Cacey Hall (Colfax, Wash.), Kelly Nigro (Woodland, Wash.), Jeb Bunn (Eagle, Idaho), Collin Horwood (Salt Lake City, Utah) and Trevor Johnsen (Eugene, Ore.)

The Heart of the Boise Valley

We believe that students travel to the Northwest to be changed forever by a rigorous education. Because of its proximity to both Idaho wilderness and metropolitan Boise, Northwest Nazarene University truly is the best-of-all-worlds location for college students.
